Asus V2 Laptop With HSDPA


Asus has just announced the release of its latest business notebook, the Asus V2, which boasts a built-in HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) / WCDMA support that provides download speeds of 10 times faster than the standard CDMA ntwork, advanced security features, and of course, the latest processor technology from Intel, Core 2 Duo. HSDPA is not the only connectivity provided. The laptop also includes 900/1800/1900MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE capability, 802.11 a/b/g WiFI, Bluetooth 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. As for the security, there’s a fingerprint reader, as well as ASUS Security Protect Management (ASPM), which guards access to the device and network.

Other features packed on the Asus V2 laptop include an Intel 956PM Express chipset, up to 2GB of main memory, an ATI Mobility Radeon X1450 graphics engine, up to 160GB of SATA hard drive, built-in webcam module, and integrated microphone. No words on pricing and availability though.
